Challenge The Norm 2019 Virtual Run Challenge #RunForMind
This March we bring you a run and/or walk in aid of Mind, the mental health charity. Now don't worry you don't have to do your chosen distance in one go! All you need to do is run or walk the distance over the month of March or April 2019! Doesn't matter how long or short each run or walk is just needs to add up to at least your chosen distance by the end of the challenge! Once you have completed the distance simply email your evidence to email@example.com - simple!
When is the virtual run/walk?
Between the 1st and 31st March 2019 or 1st April and 30th April 2019
What are the distances?
For the first time we have included kid friendly distances! The four distances are as follows:
6 miles - London - Greenwich
13 miles - London - Enfield
54 miles - London - Cambridge
111 miles - London - Birmingham
How do I log/track my runs?
You can log your runs in anyway you see fit. There are many great running apps out there such as Strava, Garmin & Runkeeper (have a look on your phones app store!) We just ask that you submit your running evidence by 1pm on the 14th April for the March challenge or by 1pm on the 14th May for the April challenge in order that we can get your medal sent out to you ASAP!
What do I get for completing the run?
You get one of our awesome medals to add to your collection.
Why are you doing this?
We strongly believe in the benefits of physical exercise not only for physical well being but also mental wellbeing. We want to bring people together to start and continue the conversation about mental health.
Mind was chosen as the charity we wanted to support with this initiative as it's a cause that is very close to the directors hearts and does great work promoting mental wellbeing and providing support. For more information on the work Mind do please see their website here - https://www.mind.org.uk/
How does this help Mind?
For each person that enters we will donate a minimum of 50% of our profit to Mind. Simply put the more people that enter the lower the cost of the medals we are providing so we can donate more to Mind. So please enter and share with friends, family and fellow runners!
